Founded in 2004, The Genius Workshop (TGW) is one of Hong Kong’s leading STEM learning centers for kids, known for inspiring curiosity and hands-on learning.
After two decades of nurturing creativity, TGW wanted their 20th anniversary to be more than just a celebration. They saw it as a moment to reconnect with their community, celebrate their legacy, and share their story in a way that felt genuine and future-facing.
The Opportunity
There was no formal brief, only a clear desire to create something meaningful that captured what 20 years of impact truly represented. The TGW team wanted content that honored their history, while also speaking to the next generation of learners and parents.
Our Approach
From the start, our work went beyond just producing content.
We partnered closely with TGW’s CEO, Albert Chan to shape a clear and compelling narrative from a loose idea. Through collaborative brainstorming and structured planning, we helped uncover the heart of the milestone, 20 years of impact, growth, and passion.
Our involvement blended strategy, storytelling, and production. Acting as both creative partner and marketing support, we guided TGW from concept to final delivery, including scripting, shoot planning, on-site filming, editing, and versioning for social media.
What We Delivered
We produced a two-minute hero video and three Instagram Reels, each crafted to celebrate TGW’s story and engage their community.
These assets were designed not just as one-time celebration pieces, but as evergreen content that could continue supporting brand awareness, community engagement, and future marketing campaigns.

The first anniversary Reel reached around 2,500 viewers and received about 25 interactions. While overall views were in line with TGW’s usual videos, the content helped engage new followers and strengthen connection with their community.

The TGW team also shared that the video production process was smooth and collaborative, with constructive feedback throughout editing and post-production.

The video assets have also been positioned for ongoing use across multiple touchpoints, including events, social media, and internal storytelling.
